ENVIRONMENT.
Making better use of resources starts with us.
Making better use of resources calls for practical choices. Argo Tractors invests in solar energy and improvements to its manufacturing processes. In addition, we develop technologies to reduce consumption and apply seed, fertiliser and crop protection products precisely. Because protecting the environment is a commitment we share with those who work the land every day.
COMMITMENT.
Practical choices that respect the environment.
Generating renewable energy and extending the service life of lubricants: two ways to make better use of resources. The figures show how Argo Tractors focuses on research and targeted investments to reduce the environmental impact of its activities.
Fabbrico solar plant: annual electricity generation in kWh.
Panels in the photovoltaic system.
LIFE+ project: increase in lubricant service life.
SOLUTIONS.
From manufacturing processes to technologies in the field.
PROJECTS.
Research and technology for efficient use of resources.
New technologies, fluid recovery and renewable energy. Argo Tractors' projects address different needs but share a common goal: reducing environmental impact. From research and testing to industrial applications, discover the solutions developed and the results achieved.
REX4 Full Hybrid
REX4 Full Hybrid is a hybrid prototype for orchards and vineyards that combines a diesel engine with an electric motor. It recovers energy during braking and manages power to reduce fuel consumption, while improving manoeuvrability and comfort. It can also operate in fully electric mode.
LIFE+
LIFE+ Clash Oil is the project through which Argo Tractors has researched lubricants with a lower environmental impact and systems to improve their use and recovery. The research extended lubricant service life by 20%, promoting their more efficient use.
Waterwall
During machining operations, the Waterwall system recovers and regenerates lubrication and cooling fluids. The treatment removes foreign oils and allows fluids to remain in use for longer, reducing consumption and disposal.
Photovoltaic system
On the roof of Argo Tractors' Fabbrico plant, 3,104 photovoltaic panels generate electricity from a renewable source. The system brings solar energy directly into manufacturing processes, helping meet the plant's energy needs.
