Announced last November at Agritechnica in Hanover, a global business cooperation was finalized between Argo Tractors, the Industrial Group manufacturing Landini, McCormick and Valpadana tractors, and Topcon Agriculture, a major worldwide player with a long track record in the creation of pioneering precision instruments for agriculture.
After the product innovations introduced over the past few months to complete the McCormick and Landini tractor ranges which cater for the most specific field and farm work needs and requirements, Argo Tractors has chosen Topcon Agriculture in its step forward in a business transformation process focused on digitization and technological innovation whilst maintaining unwavering attention to the human factor and customer care.
With over 80 years of experience in positioning systems and more than 40 in the development and creation of leading-edge technology for sustainable, precision agriculture, Topcon Agriculture will provide solutions to integrate the products currently proposed by Argo Tractors: from steering control systems to GPS/GNSS positioning and tracking techniques that enhance efficiency, increase productivity, reduce running costs, preserve the soil and water resources and, as a whole, improve farm management.
In addition, Argo Tractors will provide superior pre- and after-sales support through Topcon training initiatives for Argo Tractors’ personnel, dealers and importers.
A prestigious step forward for the two multinationals: Topcon Agriculture will be able to propose its product range through the Argo Tractors’ worldwide sales network, which includes 8 branches, 130 importers and 2,500 dealers, while Argo Tractors itself will face the global market with increasingly cutting-edge products, as top player in the agricultural machinery sector.
