New General Manager for the German branch of Argo Tractors, the industrial group based in Italy. On 1 January 2020 Günter Ordnung took over the management of Argo GmbH, following the German and Austrian markets for the McCormick and Landini brands.
51 years old, Günter draws on a wealth of experience gained in 35 years in the agricultural machinery sector and an excellent knowledge of the market thanks to previous jobs that have put him in contact with a considerable number of dealers and farmers.
“Working for Argo Tractors is an important milestone in my personal career“, said Ordnung, “the starting point for my next goals. I’m joining a multinational company that plays an important role worldwide, with a production capacity of 22,000 tractors per year. I’ll try to make the most of my experience and the skills of the work group to achieve important new objectives. Two of the first steps will be strengthening the current dealer network and finding new dealers in uncovered areas”.
“We welcome Günter into our family“, stated Simeone Morra, Corporate Business Director of Argo Tractors. “We chose a capable, experienced manager to whom we have entrusted a key role in European development strategies, who has embraced our corporate philosophy and who welcomes technological innovations, always putting people at the centre of every project. We are confident that he will be able to inspire concrete developments in the attended markets, achieving the same important sales results that the Argo Tractors group has already obtained in many other markets in Europe“.
In Germany and Austria McCormick and Landini tractors are known and valued respectively as high-powered, high-tech open field tractors and as specialised machines for agriculture, livestock, orchards, vineyards, horticulture and hop growing. The two brands offer excellent solutions for farmers, contractors, municipalities and forestry.
